What is Akord?
Akord offers digital vaults on Arweave though a web app, as well as an API and CLI for developers to build on AkordJS which is open source. You can store files privately and publicly, as well as mint Atomic NFTs.
Why Akord has been archived?
Akord has decided to sunset its current product on the Arweave blockchain. This includes discontinuing the app, API, SDK, and CLI that support their vault protocol.
Akord will transition to the Walrus protocol on the Sui blockchain. Existing data on Arweave will remain accessible, and a tool called Akord Weave (previously referred to as Akord Explorer) will be launched to facilitate data access post-sunset.
The sunsetting process will occur over a six-month period, during which no new updates or features will be added, and subscriptions will be stopped. Users are encouraged to reach out for support during this transition.
