AkordJS provides developers with the Akord Vault toolkit - a system for creating digital vaults on Arweave that have the following management features: File organization, File versioning, Access control, End-to-end encryption with key rotation for collaboration, Path manifests, Private messaging, Note creation, UDL licensing, Minting of Atomic NFTs, single and collections, Importing of existing Arweave files.
Why AkordJS has been archived?
Akord has decided to sunset its current product on the Arweave blockchain. This includes discontinuing the app, API, SDK, and CLI that support their vault protocol.
Akord will transition to the Walrus protocol on the Sui blockchain. Existing data on Arweave will remain accessible, and a tool called Akord Weave (previously referred to as Akord Explorer) will be launched to facilitate data access post-sunset.
The sunsetting process will occur over a six-month period, during which no new updates or features will be added, and subscriptions will be stopped. Users are encouraged to reach out for support during this transition.
